The Kane County Grapplers is part of the IKWF-Illinois Kids Wrestling Federation. and is an exciting program for children K-8th grade who want to learn wrestling skills through a fun and competitive program. We have scheduled weekday practices and attend tournaments on the weekends. We promote good sportsmanship, discipline, fun and fitness for every wrestler.

Wrestling season begins after football season , starting in November & continuing through February.

IMPORTANT!  Registration Information for the 2008-2009 Season
Registration forms will need to be filled out at time of registration.•
You will need a copy of the birth certificate & checks to cover fees. Registration is $140.00.

There is a $70.00 deposit.  $50.00 will be refunded after the singlet is returned in good condition, and $20.00 will be refunded after parents volunteer for 3 hours at our tournament to be held in January.

Each Wrestler must purchase (50) $1.00 raffle tickets to be sold.  The raffle will be held at our tournament in January.

The Kane County Grapplers believes that wrestling is a great sport and can be enjoyed by any child of any age. The Kane County Grapplers has two primary purposes:

  1. To provide safe, fair, and encouraging competition for wrestlers of other IKWF clubs. Kane County Grapplers bylaws, IKWF and USA Wrestling competition rules will be designed to promote good sportsmanship and foster the values of integrity, self-discipline, and honesty in both coaches and wrestlers.

  2. The Kane County Grapplers will assist club members in educating students, parents, school administrators, and the general public on how wrestling is an ideal sport for body and mind; building strength, endurance, self-confidence, and self-discipline in those who participate.

The Kane County Grapplers will facilitate the fundamentals of collegiate-style wrestling. We will encourage healthy, fair and fun competition with a focus on improvement. We will help develop self-confidence by showing the positive results that come from practice and self-discipline. We will teach respect for our peers, those in authority (such as coaches and referees) and property (such as the wrestling mat, school, etc.).
